OK, just because I'm in a rare mood, I am going to explain some aspects of Reality to you. Not that it does humans any good to do so, a lesson life has hammered home to me over and over again. Which is why I don't write anymore.
You will have looked at the title. What does it refer to?
Well, we have an Apocalypse Now, which is the authoritarian (fascist, totalitarian) threat on our doorstep.
And we have an Apocalypse Not, which is the current threat of SARS-CoV-2 and the recently arrived "Delta" variant.
Are these Apocalypses Now and Not related? You bet!
How are these related?
The answer is very, very simple, so simple that you would think even a human could understand it—
Fascists exaggerate and then use the SARS-CoV-2 "threat" to manipulate you and run your life. They create fear and use this fear to achieve their political ends. They want you to be worrying about this threat every waking moment of every day. They want you to be totally confused about this threat and every other thing all the time. If you doubt this, consider what's happening in Australia. Fearful, ignorant people are far easier to manipulate than they would be otherwise.
I am 68 years old. I am unvaccinated. I may get the conventional Novavax vaccine when the FDA approves it. I do not like being part of a massive experiment run on humans by Big Pharma. The Fascists certainly want you to be part of that experiment because they want to make all your decisions for you, even the most personal and intimate decisions relating to your health. I could say even more alarming things about this and link to a recent video of Tucker Carlson discussing the subject with Bret Weinstein, but of course YouTube removed (censored) the video for "violating community guidelines." By the way, why do you think many, many people got the first dose of one of these experimental vaccines but not the 2nd dose? Think about it.
OK, let's talk about Apocalypse Not. Let's use CDC data on Sars-CoV-2 hospitalizations and death in the United States now (7-day average for both, sampled a few days ago). My age group is 60-69, which has a higher risk than anyone younger and a lower risk than anyone older. The younger you are, the lower your risk is.
According to the CDC data, for my age group, my risk of hospitalization (new admissions) is 4.77 in 100,000. My risk of being hospitalized is therefore 0.00480%.
According to the CDC data, for all age groups, my risk of death is 1.04 in 100,000. My risk of dying is therefore 0.00104%.
My mortality risk in the 60-69 age group is no doubt a little higher than the percentage cited, but not much higher given the hospitalization rate, which is indeed age-adjusted. But that's applicable to me, not the general population, which is the important point I'm getting at.
Let us compare that to other everyday or even extraordinary risks. I will cite the data on this fascinating page. This article was written in 2018, long before the fascist-inspired manipulations and hysteria of the current historical moment. I hope the person who wrote it did their homework because it is a hallmark of the current historical moment that virtually no one knows anything and virtually everyone is confused all the time. That reality has been created by design, even if those creating it are not fully aware of doing so.
My risk of dying in a Skydiving accident is 1 in 101,083, which is 0.00099%. This is slightly lower than my risk of dying of SARS-CoV-2 right now.
My risk of dying at a Dance Party is 1 in 100,000, which is 0.00100%. This is almost exactly my risk of dying of SARS-CoV-2 right now.
Perhaps I will die dancing to this song. That would be great.
But let us consider some higher risks and compare them to dying from SARS-CoV-2.
My risk of dying in a Car Accident is 1 in 6700, which is 0.01492%. The risk here 14.3 times the risk of dying of SARS-CoV-2 right now (dividing the percentages).
My risk of dying while Hiking In The Mountains—I used to do this all the time—is 0.00636%. The risk here is 6.1 times the risk of dying of SARS-CoV-2 right now (again, dividing the percentages).
In fact, I knew someone who died hiking in the Rockies like I used to do. I don't know anyone personally who died of SARS-CoV-2.
We could play this dumb but very revealing game all day long, but I think a few of you have got the general idea. This is the Apocalypse Not.
Now, let us consider Dr. Fauci, the Biden Administration and Jen Psaki, Barack and Michelle Obama, Democrat Voters generally, the governors of California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York—this last one is for you Cuomosexuals out there—Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, every other University, the CDC and its insane director Rochelle Walensky, the FBI, the NSA, the ADL, the ACLU, AOC and "the squad", the shitbag Stephen "Hunger Games" Colbert, Trevor Noah, every virtue-signaling Hollywood celebrity, Netflix & Disney, Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Google, Twitter, Facebook, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Daily Beast, etc., etc., (this is certainly an incomplete list, but it is representative).
Do you know what "casedemic" means? Have these extremely absurdly low SARS-CoV-2 hospitalization and mortality risks stopped the people and institutions listed above from insisting that your 7-year-old school child wear 2 masks, sit 17 feet away from other students and be enclosed in a Plexiglass Bubble?
No, of course not. Because it's not about SARS-CoV-2, is it?
What it's about is controlling every aspect of your life and the life of your child. And in the case of your children, it is about indoctrinating them in an insane racist ideology whose sole purpose to facilitate that power & control over your life. This is what fascists do. This is the Apocalypse Now.
And I could make similar points about all sorts of things including but not restricted to—
- almost useless mask-wearing, social distancing and hand-washing
- ineffective lockdowns imposed without any cost-benefit analysis
- scapegoating the unvaccinated (a large percentage of whom are Black or Latino)
- vaccine passports and other restrictions (like the CCP's social credit system)
- the communist grift called Black Lives Matter
- so-called domestic terrorists (i.e., Trump voters, the "insurrection")
- racist Critical Race Theory (coming to a elementary school near you if it hasn't already arrived)
- the bogus Great Reset and politicized apocalyptic climate change (we're all gonna die in 12 years)
- rampant, arbitrary censorship in social and corporate media, including "hate speech" (i.e., speech the corporate media don't like)
- restricting interstate travel to punish Red states (Tim's 10:00 AM today)
- money-printing and inflation designed to enslave and punish you economically
- the transfer of huge amounts of wealth to large corporations and away from small businesses
Let me put it like this—were you invited to Barack Obama's big birthday bash? No way! That very exclusive party was for the important people who (quoting George) "don't give a fuck about you" outside of keeping you poor and making sure you never make political or economic decisions without their approval. You're not important; you are nothing to these "elite" people. So full of themselves, drunk on wealth & power. You are invisible to them (video below).
"What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty!" somebody said. A white + man said it in the 17th century, so in the 21st century, it doesn't count in both cases, right?
