I have to fly occasionally for my job, and I hate it for many reasons. TSA isn't on the top of the list, however.

Over the past decade, airlines have been packing passengers in tighter and tighter, and that trend is continuing, despite the current drop in oil prices. Here's a pretty funny quote from that article:
Henry Harteveldt, an analyst at Atmosphere Research Group in San Francisco, says some frequent fliers or business travelers in economy may feel the pinch, but he suggests other passengers will simply adapt. "Most travelers have given up on being comfortable when they fly in a standard economy seat," he tells Condé Nast Traveler. "If the fare is right, people will buy it."
