Two Videos

In the first video, Canadian intellectual John Ralston Saul talks about climate change risk.

Try to figure out what Saul gets right and what he gets wrong. In another video, he calls himself on "optimistic pessimist."  WTF?  And rejects as cynical T.S. Eliot's famous line—

Humankind cannot bear very much reality

And neither can John Ralson Saul. To help you out, consider comedian Doug Stanhope's much more insightful take on Human Nature in the second video.

Like all painfully intelligent and conscious people, Stanhope drinks heavily.
