When we look back musically, we might ask who was good? Whose stuff stays with us, makes us smile again when we hear it?
I'm a sucker for Bob Seger. When I hear his soulful ballads of the 1970s/early 1980s, I get happy. I wish I were young in the 1970s again and knew what I know now. I'd know what to do.
Youth is wasted on the young.

This made me think of my dad, we used to listen to Seger when we drove in his pickup. He died back in 2000, just before my tenth birthday. I haven't thought about it in ages. Thanks Dave, really.
