Although I may post on Fridays occasionally, an open thread will be the default case. This will help me avoid blogger's burn-out, which would not be a good thing.
Traffic is way down this week, which is understandable. We're getting toward the end of August and people have better things to do. I also imagine we're all experiencing crisis burn-out, especially with the Empire looking more and more pathetic with each passing day. As I've said in the past, America's get-up-and-go got up and went. This happened a long time ago.
Not so long ago President Hopey-Changey appointed Leon Panetta, Washington insider extraordinaire, to serve as his Defense chief. Now Leon is saying that anything beyond the $350 billion in "cuts" to future Defense spending increases will cripple the nation's ability to ... cause senseless havoc and destruction all over the world. Just in case you want something to talk about. How about this as a new motto for the Pentagon?
Creating new enemies today so we'll have somebody to fight tomorrow
It's your turn to talk about whatever you like. Go for it.
"This will help me avoid blogger's burn-out, which would not be a good thing."
Excuses, excuses . . . nonetheless, the appeal to the readers ("let's hear your voice") is a marketing trope that works for you here, in efforts to save face.
Yawn . . .
